Oh well, that is part of the requirements before I will start working as an Instructional Aide.
I went to the nearby clinic to have my tb skin test. I really don't know how the tb skin test is done but I am thinking maybe they will just scrape some skin tissue from me and thats it.
So I was called by a nurse (a Filipina) and then she led me to the immunization room. When I sat down, I immediately asked her if the test involves needle injection. She answered, "yes". Waaaaaa.
So it took all my force and vigor, along with the rest of my courage, to take the injection! That wasn't easy. Did I tell you I hate needles? I am just scared of needles!
And I did it! See how brave I am? It wasn't easy. I refused to look at the needle but then I was imagining its size before it touched my skin. Made me sweat in a centralized air conditioned room! Whew!
I went back monday for the reading and it was negative.
