A Bad News from Home

I was informed that my mother has an ovarina cyst. Because its already full grown, it can't be cured by medication. So she needs to undergo surgery to get rid of that cyst. Then after the operation, a sample will be taken to the laboratory to know if its malignant or not.

I know alot of women undergo surgery because of ovarian cyst. I was able to talk to some who had that procedure and they assured me that its not at all life threatening. But still I am worried about my mother. She has a minor heart defect, a slightly enlarged heart.

Anyhow, she is now in the process of acquiring clearance from her cardiologist then afterwards get ready for the surgery. I told her to be strong, as I have plans for her. I will be visiting them early next year. Then I do have plans to petition her to the US when I become a US Citizen in approximately 2 years from now.

I love my mother and I am earnestly praying for her safety. I know she is strong. In fact I do believe she is stronger than me. Her faith is her strongest armor.

BUSY-NESS

Just wanting to post a quickie update here folks...

Well, JCPENNEY will be having its annual inventory today and tomorrow. Because of this, they increased my work hours so that I can help with the preparation. Whew, t'was a busy week for me last week and still busy this week.

Last week, I worked practically the entire week. So all work and no play for tita! Hay Buhay...

Spring break is over and its back to school time. Its alright though, for we only have 8 more weeks till summer vacation.

The weather is really bizarre this week. Started sunday, wowser! Temperature is approximately 90+ degrees Fahrenheit here in Oceanside. And its not even summer yet. When I got in to my car yesterday after my work at school, I had to turn the car's AC on and at the same time open all window to let the hot air out. It was like an oven! My husband teases me when I complain to him about how warm or hot it is here. He would say,"Hot? And this is coming from my Filipina girl who lived in the tropics all her life? hahaha".

Apparently, temperature today will drop. It may still be warm but well see.

Good morning bloggers. AJA!

MONSTERS VS ALIENS

So my husband and I went to watch monsters vs aliens last saturday. It was a pretty funny movie. But one thing that I was impressed more than the movie is the 3D effects that the 3D glasses used during the movie that was provided to us by the moviehouse. It was awesome!

Anyhow, this is my first time to go to the moviehouse since I arrived here in CA. Actually, I am not really fond of going to the movies. I just watch movies when they are shown on cable tv. But I was just curious as to how American Moviehouses look like. They are just similar to the Philippines moviehouses, just a little bit "advanced".

So bottom line is...I completely enjoyed the moment with my husband. It was priceless.

So how was weekend everyone? Mine rocks!

America Life Quotes

Recently, one of the houses in our neighborhood was on fire. The reason? The exhaust vent from the dryer was no longer working. So it became too hot and started the fire. The owners were just having a quiet afternoon, watching their 2 sons play. Then suddenly, they saw their laundry area on fire. I really don't have the complete detail but good thing the entire family was just fine. And the firefighters arrived on time to save the house from complete destruction.

Good thing as well is the fact that the house was insured. So right up till this moment, the insurance company is paying for the over-all repair of the house.

Thats why insurance is vital nowadays. Not just house insurance. We also insure our cars, pets, even our jewelry. But what is the most important insurance of all? Its the life insurance.

There are alot of reasons why we need life insurance. Retirement, your spouse and children, unpaid mortgage, medical and funeral expenses and alot more.

With most americans today living from paycheck to paycheck, its important to find an affordable life insurance. America Life Quotes is here to help you get the most affordable but dependable life insurance.

FRIDAY!

Whew! Its friday folks...and I am so eagerly waiting for the weekend.

My husband is taking off from work on monday and tuesday. So we are going to have a long weekend. Cool...

Last night was our Memorial Celebration. We had it at the closest country club. Its a nice venue. Attended by 190 souls, both young and old. The speaker said that that was the 1977th time the memorial was celebrated since March 31, 33C.E. Cool huh?

So I will be staying home today and maybe try to organize our disorganized place of dwelling. I will start by washing my car. Musmusin na! haha

Good Morning bloggers. Have a groovy weekend!

Unsafe Vehicle

My husband told me once that vehicles, be it sedan, SUV, truck, or the like, is an extension on one's personality. So the choice that we make on the kind of vehicle that we purchase indeed iin some way reflects us as a person.

I see alot of riders all over California on their cool vehicles. They look really good with their outfits and their sweet-looking vehicles. But its not all about looking good. Safety is of utmost importance.

Yamaha has recently recalled more of its Rhino Side by Side (SxS) ATV vehicles because of rollover risk. The Yamaha Rhino Rollovers have caused serious injuries to numerous riders which has prompted lawsuits. Common injuries include broken legs (tibia), broken arms, and devastating head and spinal cord injuries. The Rhino's propensity to roll over has been blamed on it's high center of gravity and narrow wheel base. Many Rhinos did not come with doors on the passenger compartment, when the Rhino rolls the passenger sticks their leg out to try and balance the vehicle. Unfortunately, the passenger or driver is typically unable to balance the vehicle and it rolls over crushing the driver's or passenger's leg.

This is a saddening case. If you are victim, seek help.

A Break!

Today is the start of the spring break for my school. That means I get to have a break from working in school! Woohoo!

Then last month, I requested for time off of my other job at the mall. They approved it and so I will be having a very long weekend. I don't work today until tuesday of next week! Its a perfect timing that I requested that time off, as they require us to make a bunny hat for the celebration of easter. Its a big No No for me. Thank goodness I am off during their easter celebration.

Oh by the way, my blogging instructor, Shiela, just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! Yeahbah! Such a cutie. I am so happy for her. Congrats Manai...

Later, at sundown (for us here), Jehovah's Witnesses all over the world will be gathered for the most important event. Its the Commemoration of Christ's Death. I can't wait to be there.

Good Morning fellow bloggers. Have a groovy thursday.

Toothache

I have been suffering from a toothache for 5 days now. My husband wants me to see a dentist but I told him I will only do that once I am ready for my tooth to be extracted. I need a day of rest once I will have this tooth extracted so timing is essential here.

Spring break starts thursday. Then when I checked my schedule with my other work, I will not work thursday and friday plus my time off request for saturday till tuesday was approved. That means I can have my tooth extracted in one of these days and get as much rest as I need.

Aside from timing, I just hate needles! So I am still trying to muster courage for this upcoming battle! bwahahaha.

Good Morning bloggers. Monday again!
